MONDAY MARCH 10, 2008 OPTIONAL DAY TOUR
  ALL DAY
OPTIONAL DAY TOUR OF LOCAL SIGHTS

Following your Masterclass weekend, discover Isan's Khmer heritage -- the largest congregation of Khmer temples outside of Cambodia. Also see the region's famous matmee silk weaving. We have a lot to visit today, including silk villages, cobra boxing (in a village also famous for its home-grown herbs) and 800 year old temples! The Unesco-heritage listed stucco paintings of Wat Baan Lan are not to be missed. We'll also stop for what is reputedly Isan's best gai yang grilled chicken.
