Sunday 11 April O/N SIEM REAP
Fly ex Saigon directly to Siem Reap in Cambodia, just in time for lunch and a brief orientation of the area. plus a visit to l’Artisans d'Angkor school, a non-profit group created to re-invigorate the lost crafts of Cambodia. See stone chiseling, wood carving, painting, plus others. Afterwards travel out of town to the famous Tonle Sap whose lake magically doubles in size annually when the Mekong River literally flows backward into its basin. (At this time of year, the lake will be at its lowest ebb.) We take boats past the floating Vietnamese village on the lake at sunset, then it is back to the hotel for dinner. (A dinner theatre of traditional Cambodian dance is included on one of the three nights, contingent on scheduling.)
Monday12 April O/N SIEM REAP
Breakfast at the hotel, then we devote the day to fully-escorted tours of Angkor Wat and the surrounding ruins. We've arranged a special lunch, and in the late afternoon, finish at the Temple of Phnom Bakheng, with elephant rides up to the pagoda viewing the magnificent temples of Angkor by sunset. (The more adventurous can climb climb some 980 steps to the top!) A three-day entry pass to the ruins is included for both Monday and Tuesday, allowing you to extend on Wednesday for a later flight. Dinner is included.
Tuesday13 April O/N SIEM REAP
We start this morning with a walking tour through the central markets of Siem Reap,then more viewing of the spectacular thousand-year history of the Khmer civilization. Depending on your connecting flight time home on Thursday, we can also arrange for an evening return to your Asian hub tonight, staying conveniently in your hub airport vicinity. Transfers to and from the airports are included on all days. Dinner included

Breakfast and airport transfers are included today. Please note that return airfares Siem-Reap-Saigon are not included on this extension, but can easily be included. Please advise us of your Asian hub destination (Bangkok; Singapore, Saigon, etc.) and we will price this flight segment accordingly. Note; Bangkok is definitely the most convenient hub, as there are numerous flights daily. Additonal nights available upon request.

Accommodation in international 4-5 star deluxe comfort throughout, except where noted otherwise. Hotel breakfasts included daily, and most meals. All beverages are additional. Price includes admission fees and transfers, except where otherwise noted. Prices include all internal Cambodia domestic travel, flight Saigon - Siemn Reap. Prices do not include international departure taxes, visas, passport and other documentation fees, items of personal nature (e.g. laundry, etc.), nor overweight baggage charges. We strongly recommend that all travelers carry travel insurance. Land segment prices are based on double occupancy. Cambodian visas can be obtained on arrival, but may incur a delay. If returning to Vietnam, an additional entry visa is required and must be obtained prior to arrival.
